I think 5 counting for fell races is a good idea given there are often fewer pacers running in them and may even encourage one or two more to give them ago.

I’m not sure about parkruns - but that’s because Im biased, though Mark is right they aren't races.

I hear they are renaming parkruns 'parkjogs'

Darryl - really appreciate the effort you put in each week for this - I can imagine it takes ages to process all that data.

First wildcard of the new season... Lochaber Marathon tomorrow! Gulp. Out like a lion back like a soggy duck. Squelch.

All,

After an interesting debate on the format this is how i've decided to run it. All Leeds race series races, all vets races, any race where 7+ turn up, any parkrun where 10+ turn up. Wildcards allowed (1 per quarter).

Best 8 races to count. You can race as many as you want and all will score points. Races scored out of 10 based on your result compared with the wining time. Finishing times adjusted for age and gender. Addition to this year on next year will be age categories.

For clarity parkruns will count under the following scenarios; Any which fall in the Leeds race series, any where 10 or more pacers run, any which you choose to wildcard. So should cater for everyone - if it doesn't then you can please some of the people some of the time etc....

So, all results to date added; Hornsea, Lochaber, London Marathon, Meanwood Valley trail and Guiseley gallop.

Lets go race......

Thanks Darryl

Can you add me in to the Meanwood Valley results please, 61:38

Also you have Andrew Green's time from Guiseley Gallop a little too fast, he ran 46:50

Cheers

Mark
