The club has received the extra place above the usual 3 because we have grown in numbers. This is reflected in the number of rejected letters handed in so far, 11 compared with 7 last year.

I hope the full committee re-discusses this and reconsiders the decision to do a draw 2 which is probably just an effort to attract people to the social do. It would also be another way of depressing even further those at the social who have to watch the draw and are not included because they have not been with the club long enough.

Let's be fair, 4 entries drawn between the original rejectees.

Karen Willcock	Must admit - I am one of the newer members who are disappointed about the rules regarding 12m membership etc but that's life. It would seem fairer to have the 4 places amongst the rejectees rather than an ad-hoc place just for turning up.
