I think Jenny Helen and Lisa have said they will be at the club tomorrow, therefore just need Sue or Caroline to see me at the track tonight or the club tomorrow otherwise please advise and we can make alternative arrangements.

All in hand I think although could do with some response from the 4 runners in Team 18. New reserve added to list last night Luke McQuade.

I'll be at club tonight so will pick-up numbers.

Leeds Country Way further information.(Part 1)
Changeover points/Car parking and cut off times: -
Car Parking - Please ensure drives, gateways, and other access points are not obstructed.
Both the start and finish will take place in front of Garforth Leisure Centre Leg 1 starts at 8:00am. (Plenty of car parking in Leisure Centre car park)


1st changeover (Leg 1 to Leg 2) - Playing fields Stanley cut off time 10:00 (2 hours) Adequate parking available around the area please do not park on the main road (A642).

2nd changeover (Leg 2 to Leg 3) - Scotchman Lane - Cut off time is 11:45 (3hrs 45 minutes) -Limited parking on Scotchman Lane please avoid congestion. There were complaints received from local residents last year so please can all runners show utmost consideration to residents and their property.

3rd changeover (Leg 3 to Leg 4) - Thornbury Playing fields - Cut off time 13:15 (5hrs 15 minutes) - Parking on side streets OFF dual carriageway. Please note police will prosecute anyone parking on yellow lines section of dual carriageway.

4th changeover (Leg 4 to Leg 5) - Golden Acre Park - Cut off time 14:30 (6hours 30 minutes) - Car parking in main car park but competing with other park users, Park is popular especially in lovely weather. Runners please note that the official route through the park follows the right hand park boundary fence to the Otley Rd along the road to the personnel gate, ahead to the car park left and under the tunnel. Teams will be sent back or time penalized for short cutting this section.

5th changeover (Leg 5 to Leg 6) - Thorner Lane Scarcroft - Cut off time 15:30 (7 hours 30 minutes) Parking is in a field provided by a local resident 100 metres from the changeover point. Please ensure that the car park is used It will be signposted.

CUT OFF TIMES - Should any team not complete their legs before the specified cut off times there will be a mass start for the remaining teams.
