HI all

The date for our vets race is Tues 11 June and in order for us to host this event we need a team of volunteers. So if you are injured or under 35 and/or prefer not to run and are available that evening please can you let me know.

The club needs volunteers to host all our races, without you it wouldn't be possible so your help is greatly needed and hugely appreciated.

Volunteers will be needed on the course and at the finish, plus would be nice if we can have a Pacers bake-off and provide some cakes for the runners etc.. afterwards.

Just doing longer races this year Jon, not doing any of the Vets races. Think I burned out with my 54 last year, and can't be @rsed repeating races again and again. I'm doing:

May - Sheffield Half
June - Wharfedale Half
July - Northumberland Coastal Run
August - Fleetwood Half
Sept - Yorkshireman Full or Half
Oct - Tissington Trail Half
Nov - Conwy Half

Will hopefully keep going with a half a month through till March 2014. Then come up with a new strategy for 2014. Maybe, I'll then focus on wife carrying, coal carrying, straw carrying, etc. etc.
