Here's a few selected fell races that I intend to enter this year. There may be others but I've tried to pick the ones which may interest others - around 7miles and not silly ascents. For those new to fell running I would recommend the choices at Rombalds Romp (does clash with our club takeover and need for officials at Woodhouse Moor Parkrun) and Bronte Way.

Footwear is critical.

I've updated the list to include the Good Shepherd 27/9... 7 quid for bog filled fun then soup, tea and cake pampering by the old ladies of the Mytholmroyd congregation

Route will be familiar to those who've done Calderdale Leg 2, Coiners or Shepherd Skyline...Stoodley Pike is a repeated feature *gulp

8mile moorland race, beer, soup & a roll for 8 quid...
