Trail Running
Many new Pacers (and some who completed the annual survey) indicated they'd like to try some off road running. Along with the YVAA summer/ autumn Grand Prix fixtures , also have a look at the link below:

These local 'races' are very informal, enter on the night and can be attempted as an individual, in pairs or as a group - great fun, self-navigating with easy-to-follow directions (provided you know left from right...), and start/ finish at a country pub.
Terrain: mostly footpaths, grazing fields, stiles, woodland and some tarmac.
Trail shoes would be advisable, but road shoes will be ok if dry weather.
Go on, give it a go! I might try either June or July.
