its back by popular demand, 'Whinge of the Week'.
I thought i'd start this topic again, it good to get it out, especialy if your other half isn't a runner and doesn't care what the marshals did or didn't do. Somebody has to be told

Wetherby is a great event, but ...
10 portaloos for 1000+ runners/fun runners is never going to be enough,
consequently a 10min delay, however gun goes off 5mins before new start time anyway without much warning. Fixed barries so you have no chance of joining the mob in the correct starting position and the clock was way out at the end.
Obvious stuff, it shouldn't really happen at these well established events.

I watched the Great North Run trying to spot some Pacers, I didn't, but at the time they usually show the club runners I did see almost 15 minutes of the Red Arrows. Lovely.

I wore my cancer research top with my pacers vest over so I was running for both charity and club.

Well done to all, it's a shame we couldn't see many of you as the BBC showed some red planes making patterns in the sky instead - they do this sort of thing every year.

Years ago they used to relogiously have a 30 min church service programme bang in the middle of the London Marathon coverage and it was always at the time I was finishing. God knows why they didn't show it on BBC, He suggested it, but the BBC bosses overruled Him.
