well this whinge of the week has rumbled on for quite a while and good to see Mr Pop is back from Poland in good spirits

Anyway, off to London this weekend so I may have a new topic for conversation by the time I return, you have the train station, the tube, the French (hotel is french so usual full of them), the pissy ale, the pigeons etc.. this list goes on.

Tune in next week kids.

Packaging. Why, oh, why, oh, why, do manufacturers produce packets, boxes and containers that are too large for the product they are peddling? For example, I remember when a packet of crisps was filled to the brim and did not require an over-exaggerated inspection into the vacuous depths to locate said potato flakes; cereal boxes were once upon a time so full that you lost some of the wheatie goodness when you opened for the first time... similarly, this morning when opening a container of washing powder the box was almost a third empty.

Suggestion. Make the packaging smaller thereby saving YOU the producer reduced manufacturing and waste costs and providing US the customer with a product that is cheaper and more fulsome. Ok then, just keep the price the same and increase your mark-up you greedy, capitalist, Thatcherite good for nothings!

Exhale. And relax.

NtS

I trust, being tS that you are, that you have checked there is not a trail of washing powder from your utility room back to the supermarket. :)

A few more that really get my goat!!

Pubs that serve hot drinks!! Go to a fricking Cafe or better still wait till you get home!! Saturday afternoon, three deep at the bar, two staff serving on. Some buffoon asks for a latte and a cappacino and that's it, 25 minute wait for your traditional pub drink!!

Fascinators!! Either wear a hat...or don't..you look daft!

Films that breed a sequel or two being refered to as 1. E.g..There is no such film as Jaws 1, Lethal Weapon 1 Die Hard 1 etc..etc etc!!

Not a grammar or spelling Nazi, but people who use the word been when they actually mean being!!

JCB's and Farm Vehicles on any tarmac'ed road during the rush hour. It should be outlawed and any driver flaunting this rule be shot!

Cyclist's on the Canal...done this one I know , but after a walk on the canal with my little girl last Monday, they come across as even more ignorant and discourteous when you are going at a more leisurley pace. Just cos you have a crap little bell that goes ting, doesn't give you ownership of the towpath!! One of these cretins is going to get wet sooner rather than later........

Feel better for that!
