Hiya,

Does anyone else suffer from this and do you have any tips please? It drives me mad.

After a run of 8+ miles I struggle to stay asleep at night. I have no problem getting to sleep, infact I'm out like a light but come 2-3 am.....ting....eyes open....brain alert....husband snoring! I got back to sleep around 5am and as you can imagine I'm not feeling the joys of spring this morning. :(

I've read up on it and the main advice is do a long run in the morning. Obviously not a possibility if I want to run with PP.

Any advice most welcome.

Katy,

I have suffered from this for many years not just through running.!!! :(

I was recommended Evening Primrose Oil taplets and so started with them around 6 weeks ago and I now generally sleep until 5.00 ish.

May be worth a try :)

Thanks for that Karen, my sleep is generally ok, unless the kids wake me up! I've googled it a bit more and I'm going to try a cool shower and some paracetamol. I'm obviously hot stuff and can't cool down! ;)

I've also heard EVening Primrose is good for a whole host of things so I might have a look at that.
