You could always stop off at the Boars Head if you get thirsty towards end of Pudsey 10k challenge!!

Ivy is still open. It's what could be termed as my local. Didn't really bother with it much, but it's just had all the sports channels put on so it's a good stop off on the way to (or back from) the town centre or for the footy if you want to watch with a few pints.

Err, I assume the Butcher's narrowly missed out on the prize?

Eeeeeeww The Butchers! Yuk! Being a non believer in the real ale drinkers elitism and a comitted chemical stuffed Lager or Cider drinker (and proud!!) I avoid Sam Smith's houses like the plague! I find all their own branded products undrinkable! (All IMHO of course)

'Spoons comes in for some stick, but plenty of choice and at the end of the day, beats the pishy smelling, malevolent griefhole the Black Bull had become!! Speaking of which, when fueled on a bit of dutch courage from Spoons, I quite like the Worlds End and the irony that it has become a pishy smelling, malevolent grief hole isn't lost on me!

Try the Irv Inn cracking bar, with great choice of real ale and speciality largess, also great rock music on repeat

I'm with Digger - Irv Inn - always great beers on tap, good music and they keep the scroats out (not sure how I got in really)..
