Not sure if the Great North run will be a counter but there were more than 7 pacers in the event.
Please note that Catherine registered many years ago on the Great series website in her maiden name Catherine Garrett. This is not a new member but Catherine Smithurst for the points table.

Latest results added. I'm pretty sure there were more Pacers running the GNR than listed as pacers in the results.

Standings updated, a strong run at Rombalds Romp from Jim Wheldon means he's jumped 3 places to take top spot overall.

I expect, by the end of the year there could be a few people with near 100% scores out of their 8 best races. We may event see more than one person with 8 lots of 10 points - If this is the case, I'll have to think of a way of differentiating - maybe like penalties and sudden death; looking at the 9th highest scoring races from those people, if that doesn't separate them then look at the 10th etc
