Ey up, anyone got any tips to prevent shoes being sucked off in the mud? The shoes are a snug fit already, my next step is to wear 2 pairs of socks.

You can't always beat the most determined mud. Are you one of those people who ignore the last lace-hole because it is so high up by any chance? You can make an extra loop by using this hole and, together with the other side use the two loops to finish with a more secure fastening.

Other than stapling the shoe to your foot there's not much more to do, perhaps others can comment.
