FYI - Just received a notification from the Council to inform of scheduled roadworks affecting Chapeltown/ Uppermoor (from near Domino's Pizza at the cenotaph, past the Commercial and up to Alexandra Road on the brow of the Uppermoor rise). The works will commence 14th Oct and should take no longer than 3 weeks.

Temporary diversions/ traffic lights will be likely, as may pedestrian access and this may restrict training or runs out. Also, anyone traveling from Bradford, Thornbury, Calverley or Greengates may be a little bit delayed - poss go via Cemetery Road.

Jennifer Baldwin	The Council do say it will only be between the hours of 9.30 and 15.30 so shouldn't cause too much problem, lets hope so!

Neil Wallace	The works will last for 3 weeks, though, so all the barriers, signage and lights will likely be left for the duration... this may impact on pedestrian access and WILL cause havoc during rush hour. NtS
