Yeah, well, maybe running round a kiddies' theme park might make me feel like I can cling on to my youth Anna...

A question - probably for Darryl - am I better choosing a park run that may be slow, but where I might come 1st - or one where the time might be better but I might only just creep into the top 5 or 6? At which one would I get most points?

Hi James; parkruns are scored based on the course record for the given venue. Therefore to maximise points you need to chose a parkrun which has a slower course record (relative to the time you are able to do).

Oakwell is 17:10 so a good one. Although there's a fair bit of trail there isn't there? so you would expect the time to be slower so a bit of judgement on the time and course needed. Typically the newer, smaller ones tend to be higher scoring as they haven't had the rock stars turn up and smash in the super quick times.

Darryl - can I pull my wildcard for tomorrow. Not feeling great at the mo. I've done myself some kind of mischief.

I always knew running wasn't good for you...
