To confirm the Bat Run for Tuesday the 4th of December.

Probably be out for an hour or so. Proposed route: Millennium Gardens, Ilkley tarn, Cow & Calf, Backstone Beck, trig point above Ilkley Crags, haul across to the Badger Stone, Spicey Gill, White Wells, and back to Millennium Gardens.

Bring headtorch and full body cover.

Bite to eat and a beer in Ilkley afterwards.

Won't be bat-running this winter, but thanks for the text GT - enjoy. Can vouch for the quality of the real ale in the Cow & Calf, but the prices aren't exactly Wetherspoons.........

All set for tonight, there's a good burst of rain over the moor at the moment and with the recent hard frost there will be plenty of moisture under foot. I went out Sunday night in the frost and it was lethal underfoot, trails were frozen solid and rutted. Should be much easier running in the soft mud.
