You're in lad (Stephen Woulds struggling). Thinking about putting you on the nav leg with Darryl - btw you you'll be fine. Good experience.

Me and Mr Boom have 'form' from our experience navigating over Middle Tongue during the Fellsman... lets hope for a more slick navigational experience otherwise we might need to equip ourselves with head torches.

3.30 is a good departure time for me by the way and I'll bring the bits I mentioned for base camp although probably don't have enough camping chairs for 12 people so if anyone wants to guarantee a seat, bring one. Also, bring a mug.

You beat me to it Darryl...was going to post something similar! Looking forward to renewing our navigation partnership, although from memory my input was between nowt and minimal!! I now have the benefit of Tiff's navigation masterclass.

We have 4 chairs and I'll bring along a couple of picnic blankets...and a mug.

Plans are fine for me. Knee all good, came through the weekends park run tester all good.

Will the navigation leg use the same map as the other 3 legs? All of the 3 other legs seem to be south of the road in the middle of the map so I am guessing that leg 3 checkpoints will be in the area north of the road in the middle of the map. Otherwise they have gone to the trouble of mapping that area for nothing.
